Dreams: Turquoise

Turquoise is a color resulted from mixing together blue with green, therefore it 'borrows' features from both. When it comes to interpreting turquoise as a dream symbol, we should consider first of all the fact that both blue and green colors have an extremely calming effect upon human psyche. Consequently, as a mixture of the two, turquoise is a color which eases the soul and mind, inducing relaxation and a state of wellbeing. As a dream symbol, it may be reflective of a peaceful and happy period in one's waking life and/ or of the emotional equilibrium one has or is going to achieve.

Turquoise is usually acknowledged as 'the color of water'. That is why, when a dream symbol, turquoise may stand for one's subconscious and the negative energy accumulated within it. By associating it with other details in the dream, an individual may understand what his subconscious is trying to 'tell' him/ her.

Lighter shades of turquoise usually symbolize femininity, delicacy, gentleness and tenderness, while darker shades of the same color stand for masculinity, strength, power, vigor and ambition.
