What to wear at your wedding if you want to be the “bride of the year”

Simply beautiful! This year designers have surprised us with new and creative wedding gowns. Now it's all about leaving behind those old conceptions and having the best time of your life at the wedding. The bride is the center of attention so she must look great and glamorous. Designers' have created gowns that are meant to blow your mind and make you believe that you're attending a royal wedding. There's nothing ordinary about these dresses; it's all about standing out and making a statement. Color, imagination, boldness are the words that describe 2008's bride. She must be sassy, even if she's wearing the classic white. The path to the church should be her fashion display, so she must be simply sensational. Future wives, you'd better check out these trends!

If you're the romantic type you can always go with long and white dresses. What's so unusual about that, one may wonder? Well, it's all about the way you design it. If you choose an Empire Line dress you can be sure you'll look amazing in a bodice with a central corsage and a floor-length skirt that is just perfect for a hot summer wedding. Or you can choose another corsage dress with strapless tulle that is going to amaze all your guests.

You can still adopt the romantic style and go with a suitable long dress but why not make it more fairy tale like and buy yourself an Amanda Wakely gown? This way you can look even more sensual and alluring on your wedding day. It's all about having that extra something that is going to make you feel like you're just floating on happiness. Apart from your husband, the Amanda Wakely wedding gown can do just that. This designer bucked the straight neckline trend by going with a sweetheart neckline under which there's satin sash and lace skirt. You can go with the babydoll look for your wedding day, that is if you are the sweetheart type and buy a dress that has shirred bustline and swathes of tulle. You're surely going to love it. Match to this the appropriate sweetheart attitude and you'll conquer everyone.

Pinkish satin dressAnd if you want to be in tone with the latest trends I'd suggest adding a bit of color to your dress. If you still want it to be white but not that white, colored accents will do the trick. Add sashes and everything is going to look perfect. Use a sash and satin band on the bustline along with a satin strip in the train that will certainly liven this dress and make it unique. If you want to go a step further you can buy a dress that has some embroidery in the front, going from the chest area to the waistline. This is a classic touch that will make you look as if you just got out of a fairy tale... and that's how you want people to see you on your wedding day!

You can still look classic and modern, at the same time. The only thing you have to know is how to mix these styles. It's all about color this year, as I have already underlined. But if your gut is telling you to go with the classic formula, then you can choose the middle path. Go with a rather pinkish dress from the Le Spose Di Gio. It will surely fulfill your every wish. Choose a high collar gown seamlessly integrated into the sleeves wrapped bodice with a lightly ruched waist. The dress is also composed of a full skirt and a chapel train, that ensures that it's going to be great in formal settings.

The timeless classicOr you can always go with the timeless classic: a strapless ballgown that has a fitted bodice with a wide skirt and a layered veil sat on a crown and an elegant pearl necklace. This is a gown that will never be out of date. It's timeless and will work every time. It's a question of personal choice. Choose whatever you think is suited for your attitude, because the whole point is to look, but also feel good at the wedding.
