Amanda Bynes is one of those girls that warm us with their delightful presence and light-hearted performances in movies rather family and teenage oriented. Having the advantage of being cute and fairly talented, the young actress has starred in quite a number of productions so far, joining the club of films that fit into patterns previously created by Lindsay Lohan.
Well, Amanda seems to be out of a job, at least according to one insider who claims that the actress has been desperately trying to lay her hands on a part, sadly without any success. After signing for the role of Penny Pingleton in the "Hairspray" musical in which she pulled quite a performance, her career became stagnant. Paradoxically, the overall good reception of her performances has failed to bring her any new parts and that same Hollywood insider that found out about Amanda's role-hunger has uncovered the reasons behind producers' refusals.
Apparently, Amanda has become unhireable because of her age. The actress is no longer young enough for teen parts but neither is she old enough for adult ones, hence the pausing of her career. This is the same thing that happened to Lindsay Lohan who, luckily enough had the media coverage and material benefit of featuring on several magazine covers as well as doing photo shoots conducted by professional legendary photographers.
Not having even a small slice of Lohan's luck, Amanda was seen attending different events in attempt to talk film producers into offering her a part. According to the same movie insider who told FYB about the whole thing, Amanda was spotted at the "Run, Fatboy, Run" premiere, "The Hills" season 3 premiere party and at Perez Hilton's 30th birthday bash, all in one weekend. However, given the fact that she hasn't gotten any part in almost a year now, it's unlikely that her wish will be granted any time soon.
