Keep Your Hairline Looking Great

Act now for better results in the future

Don't watch your bush wither away, act now! With all these male stars losing hair like crazy (John Travolta and Billy Bob Thornton) I've decided to write an article about what the normal guy can do about this age-old problem (even Caesar is said to have been plagued by a receding hairline and that's why he came up with the Caesar hairstyle). Sure, movie stars can afford to strap on a fake wig or have some experienced photographer alter their picture in the almighty Photoshop, but for the normal guy, that's just not gonna cut it. So throw away your toupee and listen here what "the man" has to say about this.

In America, the figures are something like this: 60 to 100 million male Americans are right now suffering from hair loss and I'm sure none of them is pretty happy about that. Well, doctors are constantly coming up with better ways to fight this "enemy from within". Let's start off with Laser Combs, which are basically some laser devices that are small enough to run through your hair with their flashes of pulsating light. This is believed to stimulate hair follicles and the good news is you can do it at home, and avoid any embarrassment at a local clinic.

The next gadget is a little more futuristic but is the best way of beating the aging hair follicles. It's called microscopic detection and it uses microscopes to detect any problems long before the hair loss is visible to the naked eye (because by the time that happens, you're a little too late and there's not much you can actually do about it except shave your head and grow a beard). These microscopes are connected to PCs and they allow doctors to spot problem zones early on.

How does Follicular-Unit Extractions sound? Fancy? It should be, since it's an advanced form of microsurgery that is basically used to transplant hair and helps lots of people (men and women alike) achieve that natural hair they've always dreamed of having (ever since they lost it that is). But if you think that sounds weird, wait until I tell you about Trichophytic Donor Closure. That means that hair transplant will no longer leave you with a big scar. Using this technique, the hair is removed cleanly and it also grows back more easily without leaving any marks. And if you frown on surgery for getting hair back, then you should definitely try some nutritional supplements, like Viviscal, which is an European product that contains marine extracts and a silica compound (doesn't that sound yummy?).

So worry no more about your bald spot, technology is always moving forward and it's constantly coming up with new ways to make you hairy again. Let's just hope you're not gonna look like the abominable Snowman by the time you're through, you're gonna scare kiddies away.
