We all have those past relations we don't want to remember but Kristin Davis must be really going through a denial phase right now with the internet abuzz over her sex pictures/tape scandal. The fact that she was much more playful in her youth as opposed to the very uptight character she plays on "Sex and the City" is now beginning to haunt her present and very probably her future.

Her present is already looking dimly because all her rep has had to do for the past several days is deny that there is actually a Kristin Davis sex tape (which, by all accounts, DOES NOT exist) and sustain the fact that such an event will not influence the theatric release of the "Sex and the City" movie. Entertainment site TMZ claims that there are in fact some nude pictures of the actress offered for sale to the highest bidder by an unnamed third party that purchased them from one of Kristin's disgruntled boyfriends.

If that is the case, then things could become very complicated for both the actress and Sarah Jessica Parker & Co. Releasing a total of 20 or so sex pictures right before the opening week of one of the shows that were named by many landmarks in pop culture does not bode well for anyone (except maybe the bloke who has the pictures for sale). The movie opens in May this year and it was supposed to be a box office hit, seeing as how the series enjoyed such massive success. But right now, pictures of a slightly younger Davis (the shots were taken some 15 years ago) are wreaking havoc for the HBO marketing team. Talk about a promoting nightmare.

Kristin can stick with the "it's not me, I swear" routine when it comes to the sex tape thing, but the pictures look pretty real (at least the leaked version we saw). The only thing that remains unsolved at this point is why does she continue to deny the existence of the pictures if she is clearly looking and smiling at the camera (she is aware of being photographed in all of them)?
