Speculation about the smooth skin and seeming lack of expression of the 62-year-old former wife of The King has always been rampant and, naturally, filled with rumors about thousands of dollars spent in the surgeon's office. Turns out Priscilla Presley is not so much an addict of plastic surgery, as initial reports claimed, but more so a victim of a certain A-list con who injected her face with low-grade silicone.
Celebrity website TMZ reports that, even if Priscilla did undergo a few surgeries here and there, it wasn't them that ruined the face that Elvis loved so dearly. Their spies discovered that she was just one of the victims of a certain doctor named Daniel Serrano, who bragged about having in his medical kit something way better than Botox, a miracle injection that would make all women stay young without having to go through the same trouble that Botox implies (its effect wears off in a couple of months and it is, thus, highly addictive).
Apparently, according to the source, Priscilla met Serrano in 2003, at the same time as Shawn, Larry King's wife, and Diane Richie, Lionel's spouse at the time and was truly fascinated by his miracle injection, that he said he had managed to smuggle in the US all the way from Argentina. The fact that it was not FDA approved and that Serrano was not a licensed doctor in the US mattered little to the women, who soon started throwing "injection parties" at their respective homes. For each session, Serrano charged from $300 to $500.
"Shawn King has said the injections created a lump in her lip that made it difficult to speak and drink liquids. The injections caused lumps, paralysis and holes in the faces of some of the women (and some men) he injected.", TMZ writes. As for Priscilla, it is said she had no idea that the "miracle substance" that was being injected in her face was low-grade silicone (used for auto body parts) and is now currently undergoing corrective surgery to save as much of her face as possible.
Serrano, on the other hand, was released from prison last week and is now facing a federal investigation and possibly deportation. At the time the trial was held, when he was accused of smuggling drugs, and the conspiracy and use of unapproved drugs, Diane Richie was also indicted as accomplice. She later pled guilty and was placed on probation.
