And all of this when Sarkozy is dropping in polls faster than a chubby guy from a diving platform. Let's hope he ain't gonna make the same amount of splash or his days as an international playboy/French president are numbered. Here is a tip for all rich men with important positions within the social hierarchy: never leave a disgruntled ex wife behind! I'm thinking Sarkozy missed that day when they taught this particular lesson in presidential school because he left his wife quite bitter and she went out and did one of the most obvious revenge acts: she blabbered to a journalist about her relation with Sarkozy which later resulted in quite a revealing tell-all book.
Here is the cool thing: Cecilia, ex-Sarkozy now wants to ban the book from being published and appealed to a judge because she says that the book is too revealing in some aspects of her private life. Sounds too good to be true? Well, the stuff Cecilia said in there is pretty rough and some think she should have refrained from making those comments so soon after the divorce. Why? Because every three lines or so she slanders Sarkozy by calling him a "womanizer", "cheap", "ridiculous" and other cool things. Brings tears to your eyes, don't it? To be young, and passionate (about love)...
She also said something in the lines of "stingy philanderer" that has a "behavioral problem", an "unworthy president" for France. Talk about estranged wife! This totally putts the Heather Mills/Paul McCartney scandal to shame! And not just because the couple is so high-profile, but also because the book WILL be sold in book stores around the country. That's right, the appeal was denied by the judge who saw a weak attempt of trying to make amends. To him, a ban "would be totally disproportionate, all the more so because the book is already on sale". The president's men are really gonna have their hands full with fixing his PR after this!
Cacilia, a former model herself, has even taken the battle to Carla Bruni too, saying that she won't be able to make Sarkozy forget her. Now, I don't know about that, she's doing a pretty good job so far, and with pregnancy rumors, I'm sure y'all can tell that Monsieur President was rather busy during his Egyptian holiday, and not just posing for the paps, if you know what I mean! And speaking of kids, Cecilia further added that Sarkozy is so bitter that he doesn't even love his own children.
So, if you have nothing better to do and you know a little French, you can always pick the book up on Amazon or wait around until a translation makes its way over here. The book is called (what else?) "Cecilia" and it's written by female journalist Anna Bitton. It's already making a killing on the French version of Amazon. It's like the Kenneth Starr report except without the porn and with added drama...
