That Oprah Winfrey is a very successful television personality is something that goes without saying, otherwise no one can explain why she's the most appreciated, watched and loved (with lots of emphasis on that last part) woman in daytime television. That Oprah, also known as the "big O" for her impact on absolutely everything she touches, is also an extremely rich woman is understandable, seeing that the first affirmation is by now almost like a universal truth. And, while they say women act like fools in the presence of money, here's Oprah to prove us wrong.
If we're to believe the "National Enquirer" (which is not to say that we shouldn't or that we should, for that matter), it seems that Oprah has already thought of what will happen with her fortune, estimated at $2 billion, were she to suddenly and untimely pass away. And, get this, her partner for the last 21 years is not included in the big scheme of things, for reasons yet unknown - or known but not revealed by the already mentioned tabloid.
Now, I'm not saying the "Enquirer" is not a reliable source or anything, but they have been know to bend their way around the truth on more than one occasion and, frankly, I don't see how they could get that kind of info on none other than Oprah, a woman about whom the media writes only what she wants the newspapers to know. Either way, the tab is claiming that an insider spilled the beans on Oprah's will and revealed that her long-time partner Stedman Graham was not included in it. Nor shall he from now on, because Oprah wants to share her money in between her charities and her adoptive children.
Whaaaa??! Yes, Oprah may not have any children at the moment, but she will soon enough, the "Enquirer" claims. Apparently, she is planning to adopt no less than three children, but not as a couple with Stedman, a la Angelina-Brad, but as a single mother. "It's something she has always wanted to do. There's no talk of her adopting the children with Stedman - this is something she's going to do by herself.", the insider told the newspaper about Oprah's future project as a single mom.
Now, excuse me if I'm wrong about this, but this is the same woman who donated cars to strangers that we're talking about here, right? Oh, yes it is. Then how on earth are we not to believe that she has already made her will and excluded her partner, the man she has shared most part of her adult life with, altogether from it? Of course it makes sense, don't be silly...
