A friend of mine just told me today, while talking about something totally different than what the title of this post implies, that I might have something for celebrities and their home-made sex tapes that are accidentally "leaked" on the Internet. Yes, I admit it, I might. But that's only because I find it extremely funny when a female or male star has an NC-17 rated film on the Internet and, despite the fact that everybody can and does see it, they keep denying its existence. Sure, I am aware that this is just another form of privacy invasion but, in most cases, it can't be violation of one's privacy if the "leak" is not accidental but on purpose. And extremely profitable as well (see Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton for future reference).

Since we're speaking of sex tapes, rumor is strong in the blogosphere that Adriana Lima, the famous Victoria's Secret supermodel, might also have one out there. And, yes, I have seen bits and pieces of it but, as far as my eagle sharp eyes can see, I couldn't tell if it was really her or not, mostly because women these days can look in a thousand different ways depending on their make-up and hair. However, if you're really that curious, you'll just have to search for it on the net - you'll find it, no doubt and only in this way will you convince yourselves of whether that is really Adriana or not. But there are also other things that bug me about this so called "sex tape".

First and foremost, Adriana Lima is still a self-proclaimed virgin. Of course, that's not to say that we're to blindly trust her word that she's going to remain so until married, but still, you'd think that a woman who so much values her image would be smarter than to allow a man to tape her when she's having the sex. Which brings me to yet another little detail that bugs me: if there is a sex tape, you don't normally see a third person shooting all the action - the camera is either handled by one of the partners or it is conveniently placed on a nearby item of furniture. If there is a third person involved in the action, in the sense that he's doing all the shooting then, by my knowledge, the sex tape is not a sex tape but a real porn movie, in which the third wheel acts as the camera crew. I know this is more a question of semantics, but it's true nonetheless.

And, last but not least, the poor quality of the movie could be, aside from a clear indication that what you're watching is amateur stuff (therefore, possibly a home made sex tape), also a perfect way to hide the identity of the two or more main stars. If the quality is poor, to say the least, then you can take almost any other woman or man that looks like a certain celebrity, shoot them when they're doing the nasty and then spread it all over the Internet, claiming it was really that star. Which can also be said by this footage of Adriana - it could be her. But it might as well not be her, and I do tend to incline for the latter version.

Either way, if this becomes official and this is really Adriana (which I doubt it will), then she should have been a smart girl and kept the undressing only for Victoria's fashion shows. But if it isn't, then you can thank me later because at least the chick who's starring in it is hot! Xoxo, me.
