Besides protecting you from the rain, that is

The Jedi-worthy umbrellaI was actually wondering if people thought of making umbrellas with multiple functions, considering the fact that people have practically turned everything else, from cell phones to underwear, into technological mini-universes, until I came across some fascinating models of umbrellas. Not only do they protect you from the rain, but they can also be used as flashlights, music players and image projectors. If people start using them more, maybe we will actually see people singing and dancing in the rain, like Frank Sinatra did, and we will even get to smile on those cold and wet rainy days that usually get us down worse than a feverish cold.

The aerodynamic umbrella from SenzI will start with telling you about a very pretty umbrella that can proof very useful for a person who doesn't like rain at all and... is a Star Wars fan, the light saber umbrella. This is an attractive waterproof gear, mixed with illuminating LED flashlight in multicolored handle. "Take the trendy and illuminating properties of an LED flashlight, mix in a light emitting multi-colored handle, throw in the terribly useful water repelling function of an umbrella and you've got a hip and wacky way to brighten up a dismal day in the city." May the Force be with you, on a rainy day!

The smart umbrella that tells you when it's going to rainYou know how annoying it is when it's pouring outside and the wind blows in your face and your umbrella, turning it inside out and eventually breaking it? You get tired fighting against the wind to fix it and you get wet from head to toe. Luckily, there's no need to do that anymore, because a team of young designers improved the long standing design of the umbrella. The Senz umbrellas proved to be wind resistant up to wind force 10, according to tests performed at the Delft University of Technology. If you get yourself one of these babies, you'll be protected from the rain and wind, and you'll stand out in a crowd too, thanks to its stylish design.

For those of you who have trouble remembering all sorts of stuff, like the fact that you've watched the weather forecast the night before and you saw that it was going to rain, there is a solution not to get wet and angry anymore, the Ambient Forecasting Umbrella, that will remind you to take it with you when you need it, with the help of a flashing light that pulses in the handle at varying speeds, depending on the forecast.
